It will be deep and meaningless.
You’ll high-pitch and give me a fake hug,
And you’ll continue to smile.

It’ll confuse you, secretly
Will ring in your ears later that night,
Or another.
It’ll be written across my face
In UV pen
And capital letters
When you see me again.

The answer to which you won’t remember,
The answer to which is untrue.
You’ll throw it up or sweat it out
Dissolve in crispy clean night air
